Maria Lane Sulimirski is a musician and event designer specializing in creating unique, personalized gatherings and concert experiences. Her work has been featured in Martha Stewart Living, The Huffington Post and Quartzy Magazine. She is also a co-founder of Wildflower Collective, a group of New York City women who come together in the spirit of creative collaboration and mutual empowerment through lively brunches, professional development workshops, cultural excursions, volunteer opportunities and more.
A lifelong artist and entertainer, Maria received her B.A. in Music and Italian from Columbia University while studying vocal performance at The Juilliard School. In pursuit of a soulful sound to complement her classical training, Maria began vocal styling with celebrity gospel/pop/r&b coach ILana Martin in 2012 and became a Certified Holistic Vocal Coach and Program Director at Martin's studio. Maria's live performance experiences range from singing mass at the Cattedrale di San Giorgio in Italy, to playing Bilbo Baggins in the U.S. Premiere of Dean Burry's opera The Hobbit in Florida, to belting Beyoncé at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theatre in NYC.
Currently, Maria is a Master of Music candidate in Vocal Performance at Longy School of Music and she manages Creative Strategy and Operations for music-based wellness practice The Class by Taryn Toomey.
